This piece is derived from satellite imagery captured over Manitoba, Canada. The densely scattered lakes are covered in snow, they appear as light colored grey geometries in a dark landscape that almost looks like it was sketched with graphite pencil. The process involves manipulating the bands of light reflectance to create abstract, artistic representations of the Earth’s natural features.
