Neon Frost - Italy

This piece is derived from satellite imagery captured over the mountains in the Swiss/Italy border. The snow on the mountain tops appears in neon yellow/green, while the mountain valley floors appears as purple with flecks and gradients of of blue. This is the result of visualizing shortwave infrared spectrums of reflect sunlight, which is typically not visible to the human eye.
